Bioinformatics Methods Applied to Virology

Theoretical lectures about phylogenetic and datamining methods.
Practical sessions using PHYLIP, PAUP*, PHYML, MEGA, PAML, TREE-PUZZLE, SplitsTree, BEAST, GDE, LAMARC, Simplot, MrBayes, B course, R package, WEKA, RegaDB and other software.

We advise participants to buy The Phylogenetic Handbook for the workshop, and to bring their own data set.

Deadline for application and abstract: 15 March 2010.

Applications can be done online until 15 March 2010.

Selections will be made by end of May 2010.

The registration fee (800EUR) includes lectures, lunches and coffee-breaks.
